MicroTech III Unit Controllers - Easy integration into your building automation system of choice
McQuay focuses on providing superior value in HVAC equipment and easy integration with your building automation system (BAS) of choice through pro-active testing with BAS suppliers, integration support for the life of McQuay HVAC equipment, and strict compliance with BACnet® and LonTalk® protocols.    

Optional communications modules plug into applied rooftop and self-contained unit controllers to communicate with the building automation system using the protocol of your choice.  MicroTech III communication protocol options include:

  • BACnet® MS/TP
  • BACnet IP
  • LonTalk® (all are LONMARK®  3.4 certified)

Communication modules can be changed should the life of the equipment exceed the life of your BAS.

Both the BACnet Protocol Implementation and Conformance Statements (PICS) and the LONMARK eXternal Interface Files (XIFs) are available on the MicroTech III control integration page. All MicroTech III controls with the Open ChoicesTM feature are certified to the applicable LONMARK functional profile.
