Associate Product Manager PLY07-125

Duties:

• Leads cross-functional team to manage product line.

• Manages price/volume and shares expectations for assigned product line

• Monitors P&L and drive for results

• Gathers and analyzes data from internal and external sources. Reports findings.

• Performs analysis of competitive product (s). Reports findings.

• Prepares sales forecasts for use in planning and managing inventories.

• Recommends modifications of assigned product or products.

• Develops and prioritizes new product and new program development activities.

• Leads efforts to leverage sourcing, manufacturing and marketing support functions.

• Drives sales with McQuay sales team, distribution and end users of product.

• Participates in the preparation of advertising programs for the assigned product line.

• Develops and conducts technical and sales training related to product line.

• Delivers world class commercial and technical support.

• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Bachelors’ degree preferred (or equivalent with proven experience). 5+ years HVAC experience preferred.
• Individual who relishes a fast-paced work environment with a high level of involvement.
• Ability to think cross-functionally and across boundaries with a strong focus on results.
• Strong business acumen required to make judgments for customer and market.
• Works independently as well as coordinates efforts of others to reach goals.
• Strong public speaking, writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Aptitude to understand financial analysis and accounting principles.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong math and reasoning skills.
