Product Engineering support for Self-Contained and Commercial Rooftop products.
Product design modifications to satisfy specific customer requirements.
Oversight of purchased control panel and schematic modifications for specials.
Resolution of plant issues relating to product design or documentation.
Implementation of product cost improvement projects.
Work with manufacturing teams to improve existing designs using tools such as VSM and DFMA.
Investigation and resolution of product quality issues.
Qualify and implement purchased part changes due to vendor obsolescence, cost improvement or quality improvement. Coordinate these changes with the Parts group.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in the HVAC industry.
PC skills including Microsoft Office applications; basic CAD skills, a plus.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills; ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
