Product Engineer II - PLY07-65

Duties:

• Product Engineering support for Vision/Skyline and coil products.
• Responsible for converting special options into standard offerings, evaluate and implement CIP opportunities and support efforts to reduce BOM error rates.
• Evaluate custom design requests from the Applications department.
• Evaluate and implement cost improvement opportunities.
• Work with manufacturing teams to improve existing designs. Participate in DFMA projects.
• Work with quality/warranty personnel to resolve product quality issues.
• Support ARI test units. Oversee manufacturing and testing of ARI units.
• Prepare complete documentation of products, including part specification, material specifications, dimensional data, operational characteristics and installation data for future reference, catalogs, and bulletins. Work with and coordinate the efforts of necessary listing agencies such as UL, ARI.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in the HVAC industry.
• PC skills including Word, Excel, Access, VB, CAD and knowledge of rules-based engineering.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
