BACnet® Integration Information
BACnet (Building Automation Control network) is an ASHRAE and ANSI standard protocol for achieving interoperability in building systems. BACnet was developed by ASHRAE with the cooperation of nearly every major manufacturer of building automation controls and can facilitate the integration between HVAC equipment and different building management systems.
McQuay is an active member of the BACnet Manufacturers Association (BMA), an organization that encourages the successful use of BACnet.
McQuay MicroTech unit controllers offer BACnet compliant communications over either a BACnet MSTP (Master Slave Token Passing) Local Area Network (LAN) or a BACnet Ethernet® LAN. BACnet integration information for McQuay equipment is available on each product page by clicking on the Control Integration link.
