FROM CONCEPTION TO DELIVERY
Our custom air handler experts are there for you every step of the way to ensure your air handler is designed, created, packaged, and delivered to your exact specifications. Starting with your concept design in our tailored selection software, our product engineers begin a dialogue with you that continues through all steps in the prototyping and production process.

Our application engineer teams provide guidance on your custom build during all facets of creation. Whether it be support on software, design, building information modeling, energy and acoustic analysis, upgrades, training, installation, maintenance, or any question, we are there to make sure your selection is the right one for you, your building, and customer.

CABINET CONSTRUCTION
Choose from a variety of different build options to suit any application including those in OSHPOD and IBC construction. We offer options for stainless steel or aluminum construction, varying steel gauge thicknesses, and galvanized  or pre-painted steel cabinet finishes.
For high static, low leakage healthcare or cleanroom applications, we incorporate welded frame channels and high pressure panels, doors, handles, and seals that provide ASHRAE 111 Class 6 leakage (0.27 cfm per ft2 at +/-8” cabinet pressure).

ADVANCED FILTER OPTIONS
Low Pressure Filters - featuring 2" and 4" angular or flat, cartridge, or bag.
Gas Phase Filters - gas media or blended media to address specific gaseous contaminants or provide broad spectrum filtration.
HEPA Filters - remove 99.97% of all particles greater than 0.3 micrometer from the air path.
PCO Filters - titanium oxide coated filters create photo-catalytic oxidants that render contaminants harmless.

STACKED, SIDE-BY-SIDE....UNLIMITED CONFIGURATIONS
For strict, space-limiting applications, Daikin McQuay's custom air handlers offer unlimited configuration options and footprint flexibility to meet your most complex needs. Limited to room height restrictions? A side-by-side configuration option allows you to build out instead of up. For width limiting rooms, choose a stacked configuration option that allows you build up instead of out.

ACCESS & SERVICE VESTIBULES
Maintenance friendly access and service vestibules can be customized with aluminum diamond treadplate floors for added corrosion resistance and increased traction and support in slippery conditions.

UV LIGHTS/ANTI-MICROBIAL PROTECTION
LINER OPTIONS
Logical and cost-effective additions for care facilities where ambient conditions routinely involve high humidity levels. The protection liner and UV lights improve IAQ by diminishing surface mold, bacteria and associated toxins that otherwise can contaminate interior walls, coils, drain pans, and air streams.

EXTENSIVE COIL SELECTIONS
A wide variety of cooling, heating, steam, booster, and evaporator coils with extended coil connections and gasketed air seals are available to provide energy savings, high-efficiencies, and maximum heating/cooling transfer. Choose from aluminum, copper, or electo-coating construction and take advantage of our wide range of tube/fin thicknesses and circuiting for optaining the ultimate in high-quality performance.

MODULAR ASSEMBLY OPTIONS
Our custom modular design allows sections to easily pass through narrow halls and doorways to a mechanical room where they are then quickly joined together using our unique, patented splice collar design. This lowers installation costs by avoiding in-space construction and is ideal for retrofit applications.

ROLLER CAM DOOR HANDLES
Custom high filtration units operate at extreme pressures. To help minimize air leakage, we incorporate strengthened door handles with roller cams that ensure door seals remain air tight.

INWARD SWINGING DOORS/INSIDE DOOR HANDLES
For air handling applications where positive pressure sections are required, Daikin McQuay offers inward swinging doors, as well as inside door handles for easy serviceability.

TEMPERED ROUND WINDOWS
Factory-installed tempered Plexiglas windows structurally create the strongest and tightest seal available and are ideal for custom units in high static/low leakage applications.

ROBUST CABINET CONSTRUCTION
Double wall,R-13 foam-injected panels with welded gasketed frame channels provide ASHRAE 111 Class 6 leakage for demanding filtration applications like healthcare or cleanroom facilities.
